1. Who AskBurg is for
AskBurg is built for adults aged 18 and older, small businesses, and professional teams. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. AskBurg is not designed for, marketted to, or intended for use by anyone under 18.
Organizations deploying AskBurg chatbots or Knowledge Engine instances must not make them available to users under 18 unless they have an executed, written agreement with AskBurg AI Systems incorporating specialized child-safety guardrails.
2. AI disclosure and transparency
When you interact with AskBurg on any surface (including our website chat, browser extension, dashboard playground, or embedded widgets), you are chatting with an artificial intelligence assistant, not a human.
AskBurg runs on open-weight foundation models adapted with custom instruction fine-tuning and quantization. While tuned to admit uncertainty and ask clarifying questions, AI systems can make mistakes.

- Not professional advice: AskBurg outputs do not constitute legal, medical, or financial advice. Consult qualified, licensed human professionals for these subjects.
- Unremovable AI labels: All embeddable and white-label widgets display a permanent "AI assistant" designation under the active brand so end users always know they are conversing with an AI system.
3. Content safety and moderation
AskBurg enforces multi-stage safety filters on both incoming prompts and generated model outputs. Our systems detect and prevent:
- Generation of violent, sexually explicit, abusive, or hateful content.
- Encouragement or instructions related to self-harm, illegal acts, or physical injury.
- Attempts to harvest personal credentials, generate malicious software, or bypass platform guardrails.
- Automated spam distribution, mass deception, or impersonation of real persons.
4. Data use and privacy safeguards
We adhere to strict data-protection principles under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and global privacy frameworks:
- No silent model training: Your prompts, conversations, and uploaded reference documents are never used to train or fine-tune our models without your explicit opt-in consent.
- Tenant isolation: Customer documentation uploaded to the Knowledge Engine (RAG) is partitioned into isolated, encrypted indices. One customer's data is never retrieved for another tenant.
- Limited retention: Ephemeral query logs are kept for up to 30 days solely for operational debugging, rate limiting, and security telemetry, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
5. Restricted and prohibited uses
Users, developers, and organizations may not use AskBurg for:
- Providing unverified legal, medical, or financial advice directly to consumers.
- Deploying customer-facing chatbots to minors under 18 years of age without a written agreement with AskBurg AI Systems.
- High-stakes automated decision-making (such as credit underwriting, criminal justice, employment screening, or vital infrastructure management) without meaningful human review.
- Creating or spreading deceptive political campaign material, misinformation, or impersonations.
- Scraping or extracting model weights, outputs, or datasets to train competing commercial foundation models without license.
6. Reporting safety concerns
If you encounter harmful outputs, security vulnerabilities, or policy violations, report them to our security and moderation team at [email protected]. We review and resolve safety reports within statutory timeframes.
